Hi, I’m Dom

Words are my favorite thing, but I’ve never fit neatly inside one or two of them.

I’m a four-time author. A writer. A poet. A designer. A strategist. But, I’d start with being a follower of Jesus, a mother to two beloved boys, and a recovering perfectionist who can feel when something is almost there.

And “almost” still bothers me. I’m working on it, but it’s a benefit to you!

I help people write and design because I can sense when the message hasn’t fully landed. When the story is close but not clear. When the words say something… but not the right thing.

I’m the bridge between what you mean and what you actually say. Between what you imagine and what finally gets built.

I help you get out of your head and onto the page.

I hold a Master’s in Corporate and Organizational Communications. I serve as Director of Communications at The L.I.V.E. Church in Mount Vernon, NY. I’ve led strategy for national brands and structured books for first-time authors. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist — which, if you think about it, is still storytelling.

Every book I’ve written came from a different season of my life — love, passion, grief, divorce, motherhood, searching for purpose.

I write to make sense of what I’ve lived through. I publish it to help you make sense of what you’re living through.

  • The Words I Didn’t Listen To — Choosing yourself when you finally see the truth.

  • IKIGAI: Love Is Not Enough — Building a life that doesn’t depend on being chosen.

  • Hope After Heartbreak — Faith after divorce.

  • Hope in Your Kid’s Hospital Room — Holding on when your child is hurting.

I don’t just help you write the thing. I understand what it costs to put it into the world.

Dom Write Now is my creative studio—where personal stories, milestone moments, and meaningful design come to life.

Dominique Brienne, LLCis my strategy practice—where words are structured, positioned, and built to move through organizations with communications systems.

OMI is my hope-based lifestyle brand—a reminder that hope isn’t distant. It’s home.

I’m equal parts Batman and SpongeBob. Strategic and serious about the mission. Imaginative. Slightly intense. Very playful. I believe excellence and joy can exist in the same breath.

I live in Westchester, NY, with my two sons—my favorite, the funniest people.

I’m a mother. A survivor with a pen. A builder with a blueprint.

And I believe the right words, written at the right time, can change everything.

Including you.
