The business plan is unfinished. The book is still sitting there. The email has not been sent. But the fear of failure is keeping us from recognizing what creating something gives us, even when it does not become what we imagined. You still get the experience, the evidence, the insight, and the story. Put what is inside of you into the world. You cannot build an archive made of nothing.

I've been writing poetry since I was about 8. I didn't perform a piece until I was 22. Writing was just something I did because I couldn't not do it. The writing was already free. I was the one who hadn't gotten the news.
