Personal writing is a calling, and when I'm not doing it, something in me feels empty. More is not always better. So next time you feel a block or like something's missing, reflect on whether the creativity could come from something you've already produced. It's all inside.

Once a week, someone tells me they're ready to write a book. I'm inspired by all the ideas. I'm challenged by the amount of people who feel ill-equipped to do it. The goal isn't to have it all figured out before you start. The goal is to start and figure it out as you go.
